WINE FRIENDLY is RIEDEL’s NEW entry level series for customers who appreciate good, moderately priced wine. A non-varietal specific collection, made of crystal glass, so one can increase the owner‘s drinking pleasure of wine. For the first time, Riedel presents glasses for beginners or occasional wine drinkers who on the other hand do not need to forgo that famous Riedel quality. Instead of being functional and matched to the grape variety, the glasses of the Riedel Wine Friendly collection are designed for a specific purpose. With this collection, Riedel is responding to a all over the world increase in demand for “easy to use” entry-level glasses. The collection was once originally developed as a mise-en-place for the restaurant industry, where universal glasses are preferred because of limited storage space. The collection includes four glasses and a decanter: Magnum – an all-round glass that can be utilized for both red and white wines. A glass for red wine, a glass for white wine that can be used for champagne, and an allpurpose tumbler. A decanter completes the collection.
