The rustic paint coverage starts with a black or contrasting base coat and then the star color is hand painted on top of the base coat with a feathering look which gives the star a distressed appearance. This tin barn star measures approximately 53″ from point to point (left to right). The barnstar is hand crafted out of 22 gauge galvanized steel by The Old Order Amish from Central Ohio. This size star will arrive in 5 separate wings (one tagged on the back for simple hanging) and will require quick and easy assembly.
