The general use drawers are mounted on epoxy coated steel slides for years of trouble free quiet use whilst the hanging file drawer features heavy duty ball bearing full extension slides to take care of the extra weight and heavy use. This desk is finished within the “Glacier Country” collection style for a in reality unique, one-of-a-kind look harking back to the Grand Lodges of the Rockies, circa 1900. First we get rid of the outer bark whilst leaving the inner, cambium layer intact for texture and contrast. Then the finish is completed in an eight step, professional spraying process that applies stain and lacquer for an exquisite, long lasting finish. Comes fully assembled.
