CURE BEFORE USE: For safety, this kamado grill will have to be cured before initial use. To cure the grill, care for a charcoal burn at around 200 degrees for approximately 30 minutes then let the grill fully cool for 24 hours before cooking on it. This process helps the lid gasket to mature, prevents the ceramic from cracking all the way through the first cook, and burns off any manufacturing residue.
